Everything you need to know about working with us. Can't find the answer? Just ask us directly.
We work primarily with small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), startups, e-commerce companies, logistics firms, and professional service providers across the UK. Our clients typically have outgrown off-the-shelf software or need systems that integrate their existing tools in a way that generic solutions can't offer. We're comfortable working with both technical and non-technical clients — we handle the complexity so you don't have to.
Our prices on the website are starting points for each service category. Every project is scoped individually, and before any work begins, we provide a written fixed-price proposal. What you agree to is what you pay — no surprise invoices, no scope creep charges without prior discussion. If you need additional features or changes during development, we'll discuss the impact on cost and timeline before proceeding.
Timelines vary by project complexity. Simpler automation tools and integrations typically take 2–4 weeks. Mid-complexity projects like client portals or reporting dashboards usually take 4–8 weeks. Larger builds such as SaaS MVP development or employee management portals may take 8–14 weeks. We always provide a realistic, detailed timeline in our proposal — and we stick to it. We'll flag any risks to the schedule early, not after the deadline has passed.
Not at all. Many of our best client relationships are with business owners and managers who have no technical background. We're experienced at translating business requirements into software specifications, and we communicate in plain English throughout. We'll explain what we're building and why, keep the jargon to a minimum, and make sure you feel fully informed and in control at every stage of your project.
Every project includes full handover documentation and a post-launch support window (typically 14–30 days depending on the project) during which we fix any bugs or issues that arise at no additional charge. After that, we offer ongoing maintenance and support packages. Many of our clients work with us on a retainer basis for continued improvements, new features, and system maintenance. We're invested in your long-term success, not just the initial delivery.
You do. Once a project is paid in full, all code, assets, and intellectual property we produce for you are transferred entirely to you. We don't retain ownership, impose licensing restrictions, or hold your software hostage. You'll receive the full source code, documentation, and everything you need to maintain or continue developing the project independently if you choose to do so.
Almost certainly, yes. We have extensive experience integrating with popular business platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Mailchimp, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Twilio, and many others. If the platform offers an API (which most modern software does), we can connect to it. We'll confirm compatibility during the discovery phase before committing to any proposal.
Yes, on both counts. As a UK-registered company, we operate under UK GDPR and take data protection seriously. Any data shared with us during a project is handled securely and never shared with third parties. When we build systems for you, we implement security best practices including encrypted data storage, secure authentication, access controls, and regular security reviews. We can provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) where required.
Absolutely. The services listed on our website represent common project types, but our capabilities go well beyond them. If you have a specific business problem that needs a custom software solution — whether it's an internal tool, a customer-facing application, a complex data pipeline, or something entirely unique — we'd love to hear about it. Contact us with your requirements and we'll let you know whether we're the right fit.
We typically work on a split-payment structure: 50% deposit at the start of a project and 50% on completion and delivery. For larger projects, we may agree a milestone-based payment schedule. We accept bank transfer (BACS), and all invoices are issued with full company details in line with UK business practice. Payment terms are always clearly stated in your proposal before any work begins.
